Veselka Ukrainian Dance Year End Show

Join us for an afternoon of dance, culture, community, and fun!

Watch Veselka Ukrainian Dance Association keep the Ukrainian spirit alive with their year end showcase. Our showcase features performances from our entire school, including adult ballet and ensemble. See the colourful costumes in movement as we bring traditional steps from regions across Ukraine. A celebration of dance and culture you don’t want to miss.

Veselka offers a variety of classes and programs to serve the Greater Victoria area, including, Ukrainian levels for children and adults, yoga, ballet, Veselkacise, and a performing ensemble, ‘Skunkworks’ As we celebrate 52 years of Ukrainian dance, our regular performances include school tours, community events, and festivals from local through international levels. In recent years, Veselka has curated 3 three productions: The Man and the Crow, Baba Yaga, and the most recent Lesia and the Giant Cherry which occured in June of 2022.

Veselka is a proud member of a vibrant Ukrainian community in Victoria and works closely with the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, the Ukrainian Studies Society, and the Kalyna Choir to maintain Ukrainian culture and promote innovative collaborations across the arts.

Giving - $45

For those with some expendable income, who would like to support Veselka and the art of Ukrainian dance and culture!

Standard - $35

This is the going standard rate for dance performances in and around town

Support - $25

This is our most accessible tier for folks who may face financial barriers.
