This Christmas cookie class featuring KJ Designs Cookie decorating will be held at Cowtown Brewing Company! Cheers to cookies, beer and holiday cheer! It will be a night to remember, so grab your friends and lets have some fun!
Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! KJ Designs is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and a friend or two!)
We’ll be decorating holiday themed cookies during this 1.5-2 hour cookie decorating class! Don’t miss out on this fun 4-cookie, 3-4-icing class! Each ticket includes a beverage!

About this Class
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a tray to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 4 cookies, 3 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
This class is on December 10th at 6pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself, bring a friend, or bring the whole crew - we have seating for up to 30 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
The class will be held at Cowtown Brewing Company at 1301 E Belknap St, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
Things to Bring
Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!
- Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.
- Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
- Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.
DIY / Add-On Kits
Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I can email you the class PowerPoint so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.
How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.
Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.
Classes with attendance below 10 people will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.
Weather Policy: Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
