We welcome Jonathan Boulangeat, the Head of Rare Champagne, and Lisa Simon, the founder of Haute Caviar, to take us for an exclusive vertical champagne tasting and caviar pairings featuring 3 exceptional vintages of Rare: 2008 (magnum), 2013, and 2014 Rosé.
Rare Champagne is more than just a name, it is a philosophy that is rooted in history, and prestige. Originally conceived in 1785 as La Cuvée du Centenaire, this Cuvée was intended as a gift for Marie Antoinette, the Queen of France. A woman known for her refined taste and appreciation for life’s rarest luxuries. In more modern history, over the past 4 decades, only 11 vintages have been declared, and always in a small production. A true testament to Rare Champagne’s devotion to excellence.
This exclusive tasting will provide a rare opportunity to partake in 3 remarkable vintages:
- 2008 (from magnum) - A legendary vintage for champagne. Expect precision, depth, and power tempered by careful aging in bottle
- 2013 - a wine of balance, serving as a classic display of Rare Champagne’s signature minerality and ripeness of fruit
- 2014 Rosé - only the 4th vintage produced, offering an exquisite blend of power, delicacy, and a medley of fruit flavors
