This will be a first time at Choose Days At The Glebe for Vertical Pig, an exciting, 6 piece, original music band, from Congleton. Their music reflects the diverse array of music that’s influenced each band member throughout life, leading to a truly kaleidoscopic set list, packed with everything from infectious pop melodies, reggae, punk and ska, through to very tasty, full-on rock. In addition to their original material, they also perform a handful of carefully chosen covers. Many of our longtime regulars might recognise their drummer Michael Macconnell, who has previously performed here several times across the years, with Floyd Machine and The Four King Blues Band, so if he looks familiar, you know why.This is going to be a great gig. Vertical Pig have gone down a storm everywhere they’ve played, including their amazing set at this years Congleton Jazz and Blues Festival, and each gig they play, gains them yet more fans.
