About this Event
For the month of May, the 'Short Classics' book club will be discussing Lolly Willowes; or The Loving Huntsman (1926) by Sylvia Townsend-Warner. The book club will be held in our very own Cafe W, so do feel free to grab a (discounted!) drink while we discuss this mysterious and picturesque novella.
"Lolly Willowes is a twenty-eight-year-old spinster when her adored father dies, leaving her dependent upon her brothers and their wives.
