A&W Presents a pop culture convention part Disneyland, part collectable pickers show, part cosplay event, part artist/designer forum and part 'OMG, I LOVED that when I was a kid'... convention! Event runs from 10am (with an extra hour), now until 6pm. Vernon Comic Con began in 2018 and it has been a wonderful gathering of like minded friends, who arrive in Vernon from all over! It's about everything Fandom! Movies, TV shows, Gaming, Comics, Cards Toys, Collectables and so, so much more!!
As you know, The Vernon Comic Con is always on the first Saturday in May, which celebrates Free Comic Day (which will be offered as supplies last), thanks to Ebenezer's!
WE ARE NOW ADDING ANOTHER BUILDING!
We keep growing thanks to you and to make the lines even shorter, you can enter form either building first. Besides the two venues from last year, we are also adding the Priest Valley Arena to our event (next to the Rec Centre and Dogwood Gym). Now basically having a Vernon Comic Con Campus, for you to enjoy.
Pay entrance is through the main Hall only (rec centre) from the back by arena or front of rec centre. In the Main Hall (rec centre) you will find the majority of our vendors, some special surprises, TCG Championship Tourney, GameShow for prizes and much more. You can go straight to the arena for free if you want to start there. The arena will host the stage/artists/chill space at tables and some vendors. You can then enter the main hall by the arena exit into main hall or front of main hall.
The main Hall and Dogwood Gym is only $10 per person (children under 12 yrs old are free... thanks to TOURISM VERNON)!
NOTE: We are working on some special surprises here, as well!!

The Dogwood Gym (inside the main rec centre), will host a few vendors and many tables, as we run a few TCG Tournaments in there. Stay Tuned.
On our main stage, there will be guest speakers and our cosplay showcase. Email [email protected], if you want to participate in the showcase.
*Most vendors will have debit etc, yet feel free to have cash on hand for entrance to make things move quicker. An ATM will be on site. It helps the line move quickly with cash.
The 501st Legion will be in attendance for photos for all Star Wars fans. All of the photo donations go to NOYFSS.

The VCC is much, much more than comics. Come join the fun, meet some wonderful collectors, artists, play games, search through a plethora of long boxes for that special comic, find unique collectables, buy/sell/trade cards, view stunning props, costumes, cards, video and board games, take in photo ops, find vintage items and much more. From private collectors and artists to retail outlets bringing out their special items that are hardly seen with many deals. For those that have never been to a collectable show or con, this event has something for everyone and it’s much more than you think. This convention was created for the entire family!

Many get into the spirit and dress up as their favourite characters. We had entire families becoming Superheroes! You have time to start designing your Black Panther, Darth Vader, Harley Quinn, Kitana, Pokemon, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Okami Amaterasu or Trekkie costumes now lol! We look forward to seeing you in our new location. It’s a fun filled day for all of us like minded fans!!
