Please join us for a Vermicomposting 101 workshop. Did you know you can feed worms your kitchen vegetable scraps and they will turn it into rich, nutrient dense black compost gold? UF/IFAS Extension Agent: Randy Penn, Sarasota County Extension, are hosting the workshop on how to compost with WORMS!
Participants will learn the following:
- What is vermicompost?
- The benefits of worm composting and recycling food waste
- How to build a worm bin
- How to take care of a worm bin
- Vermicomposting real-life examples
