Vermi Composting Class - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The Borough offers composting classes free of charge to Mat-Su residents. Registration is REQUIRED by sending an email to [email protected] or calling 907-795-3722.
The goals of the MSB Composting classes are to train & empower compost experts throughout the Mat-Su Borough to educate residents, businesses, schools, dog mushers, farmers, stable managers, and organizations to compost organic wastes; provide expertise to entrepreneurs wanting to start innovative composting and organic waste-reduction businesses; provide certified composters with a compost hotline; and reduce organic wastes at the landfill and transform them into beneficial product.
Vermi-Composting (worms) Classes will teach you how to successfully start and manage a worm bin, avoid flies and stench, and utilize finished vermi-compost.
