The annual Catholic Veritas Conference of the Lake Charles Diocese is an event for all adult Catholics, consisting of keynote addresses, breakout sessions, prayer, lunch and vendors. This year's theme is "The Life of Virtue." The conference will put growth in virtue in practical, easy-to-understand terms to help you grow in grace and joy in your life of faith. Our 2024 Keynote Speaker is Father Aquinas Guilbeau, OP, a native of Louisiana and current Vice President of Mission and Ministry for the Catholic University of America. His namesake, St. Thomas Aquinas, wrote extensively and insightfully on the concept of human nature and the virtues.
Event begins with 8:30 a.m. Mass in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church; followed by 9:30 a.m. Welcome and Keynote in OLQH Family Life Community Center.
