A manifestation of the divine, even Krishna, the protagonist, is caught in the vortex of joys and sorrows of human life. Venugaan flaunts Krishna, not only as the love of Brindavan but also as the notable king of Dwaraka. The story dives to its extent on the last day of his chosen human form, as Krishna finds himself questioning his actions. As memories of Radha, Rukmini, Arjuna, Kunti, Gandhari ambush him while haunted by his tragic ambition, Krishna is perturbed. Debating the morality of his decisions, this work merges the Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam along with free movement phrases and spoken word.
