Join us for the Ventura County Dance Festival and Conference on March 15 and 16, 2025, hosted by California State University, Channel Islands Dance Studies Program! This inclusive event celebrates dance, welcoming educators, dancers, and choreographers of all ages and skill levels.
The weekend kicks off with an engaging symposium for dance educators (K-12 and collegiate sectors only). Enjoy a variety of low-cost and free classes in styles such as Contemporary, Yoga, and Hip-Hop, along with specialized sessions for seniors. Perfect for movers of all levels and ages looking to enhance their skills and try new styles.
The weekend's highlight will be our live dance performance on Saturday evening at Namba Performing Arts Space, showcasing the incredible talent from our community. We will also feature Moving Stories, a collaborative work created by various women in the community, including CSUCI students, to honor Women's History Month.
The festival concludes with a free virtual dance showcase. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage with the community through dance!
