Thank you for your interest in Spogomi! We are a Japanese organization dedicated to preserving the beauty of our planet by transforming cleanups into engaging and enjoyable sports.
We are proud to announce the Spogomi World Cup 2023 USA Stage!
Join us on April 8th, 2023, at Venice Beach for a day of fun and environmental activism, participating in "Spogomi", a sport in which teams compete against each other for points awarded according to the amount and type of trash picked up in a given area within a set time limit. The winning team will have the chance to represent the USA in the World Cup scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, from 19th to 23rd November 2023.
Team Requirements:
- Teams must consist of three members (sign up with your friends/family!)
- All ages are welcome (at least one team member must be 18+ for participants under 12 with a content of a parent/guardian)
- At least one team member must be an American citizen to represent USA/members must be American residents (no visiting tourists)
- Team members must be able to travel to Japan in November 19th - 23rd 2023 with a valid passport. (up to 2 members can be replaced) (all travel expenses will be covered)
