The next installment of Velvet Nights, FRIDAY 8/22, is 'Currents', a BASS-focused dance party with genre selections ranging from DnB, UKG, Bass-House, and minimalist dubstep. This also serves as the de facto @returntotheriver pre-party, so you know that art and community will be at the forefront of this event. @cart.oh takes the first half of the night from 9-11:30, and @theronniecash aka Dhat Part closes the night out after that. These two power house DJs are taking you down that river in the jungle in the middle of the night with your good friends on board.
Esteemed water color artist Furburn Franks will be present as well to capture some portraits of the performers and dance floor. Stay tuned for additional community art collaborations.
