This workshop, taught by Master Gardener, Jeannie Manis, focuses on starting a garden. Come learn about choosing and preparing a site, easiest veggies and flowers to grow, and how to start some longer season seeds. Attendees will finish up with a hands-on, seed-starting session where they will plant a flat of seeds to take home. They will also be able to select seeds that are best direct-sown in their gardens once it's warm enough to plant.
SCMGA will provide seed flats, plant cells, soil, and seeds for popular, easy-to-grow vegetables and annuals.
Cost is only $5 and is open to anyone. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
