If you've been wanting to get involved in animal rights activism for a while, but feel a little anxious or uncertain, this is the perfect introduction! Chalking is a lovely creative way of getting the message out that's a little less confronting than other forms of activism. We'll meet near the Frank Kitt's park playground at around 1pm, and start chalking it up there and maybe move our way up the waterfront towards Te Papa to spread the message far and wide! We'll bring along some chalk to share, but totally bring your own chalk along if you are able! (The Warehouse/Warehouse Stationery Kookie brand is cheap and also confirmed vegan-friendly)
Otherwise, just bring yourself and your ideas! ✨ We could work together on some large scale pieces! ? Bring some vegan snacks if you'd like, we'll bring some Bluetooth speakers and play some music as we go! We'll go for 2 hours or so, depending on how we're feeling!
Message us if you're arriving later and wanna know where we are!
If you're new and wanna get involved, but don’t have anyone to come with or feel at all nervous, please post here or message the Wellington Vegan Actions page and we’ll take good care of you ?
