Come out for a fun day at Lake Hickory with the Catawba Valley Veg Club! Cook up a vegan main dish, side, snack, or dessert to share with the group (or pick one up at the store if you don't want to cook)! Bring your friends, family, and animal companions along for the fun!There are tables and benches available, but the city does not let people reserve them at Geitner Park. So, please bring chairs, blankets or some beach towels to sit on in case we need them!
There are also a few charcoal grills for public use. You can bring your supplies if you'd like to make some burgers!
This event is open to vegans, vegetarians, and anyone interested in the veg lifestyle! We ask that everyone bring an item that is 100% vegan so it can be enjoyed by everyone.
Feel free to let us know what you plan to bring in the comments to help us coordinate! *non-alcholic drinks, utensils, and napkins would also be super appreciated! Feel free to also bring games!
