CALLING ALL VEG HEADS: FIRST ANNUAL VEG FEST AUGUST 20 2022: Vegans Vegetarians and those curious unite in Downtown Highland Park
Highland Park’s new alfresco entertainment space The Lot (523 Central) is the perfect spot to gather those curious about veganism vegetarianism and a plant-based lifestyle at VegFest on Saturday August 20 from 11 AM-7 PM. Attendees can expect music lifestyle presentations mindfulness activities and delicious cuisine under the umbrella of “all things veg!”
The free all-ages Veg Fest will feature yoga restorative meditation sessions Psychic Chakra Studio readings and crystals informative presentations with Carol Amendola D’Anca a local board-certified nutritionist/speaker/best selling author/host of “Authentic Italy” Lifestyle Immersion live music and more.
Local vegan and vegetarian food and drink will be available onsite including offerings from Highland Park’s own renowned vegan restaurant Madame Zuzu’s Emporium.
