An afternoon to come together and celebrate. Bring your own picnic and/bbq (Will, will be manning the bbq) items and join with the village to commemorate 80years.
There will be a pudding competition judged by Matt from The Stagg in the village hall, poppies for everyone to paint, decorate and sign to add to the tree already in the hall, decorations and 1940s music and dress to add to the day and kids games/rounders all on the village green.
8th May is the official date so to join the nation in memory at 9.30pm can everyone light a candle in their windows.
10th May celebration day from 2pm.
