On 8 May 2025, we mark the historic 80th anniversary of VE Day, to bring together our community and celebrate 80 years of peace since the end of Word War II in Europe. This free community event is open to everyone and is appropriate for all ages. Held in our Garden of Honour, there will be live music from various talented musicians throughout the evening. There will be fish and chips available to purchase or there is an option to bring a picnic. The event will culminate with the lighting of our beacon and a rendition of "I Vow to Thee, My Country" at 9.30pm. However, do feel free to stay as long as you are able.
