Just a reminder of what is happening for ve day in the village 1. Thurseday 8th may lighting of the beacon on castle field setting off the forge pub.
2. Friday evening 9th may barndance bedlam band tickets £5 from me.
3. Sat vintage fun day 10th may. Lots going in garland dancing, silver band. Competitions stalls food childrens old fashioned games.
Competition to make a recipe from war times.
Saturday evening murder mystery by the actors who did it last time. Dressing up in 40s style would be brilliant. Hot food and drink available. Or bring your own wine beer.
Sunday 11th may all faith service 11am With the British legion in attendance. Please support these village events as without you they cant happen. Thank you.
