Join us on October 18th as we celebrate health and wellness with a 5K run/walk. VCCH Team Members, families, and friends are welcome to attend this family-friendly event. All participants will receive a limited edition 2025 Health and Safety 5K T-Shirt, a medal, and a timing bib for the race as long as they are signed up prior to the deadline. Participation in the 5K is NOT REQUIRED for attendance! This race will also qualify for wellness points on Health Advocate.
Run Route
The race will start behind the Jakob building and follow Three Point Drive, crossing Volvo Car Drive and continuing onto Entry Parkway. Runners will proceed to a clearly marked U-turn point before heading back along the same route, finishing at the Jakob building.
In addition to the walk/run, we will host info tents and stations for community/wellness vendors. Dorchester Paws will be on-site and will accept non-monetary donations for their shelter!! You can also donate here: Dorchester Paws Donation Page
REGISTRATION TO OBTAIN A SHIRT AND BIB CLOSES ON OCTOBER 10, 2025
Individuals who do not register by October 10, 2025 at 11:59PM will not receive their T-Shirt, medal and bib in time for the event.
You may still attend the event and run in the race without registering if you decide to attend after October 10. We need to use this as a cutoff date to order shirts in a timely fashion. Extra shirts may be available, so stop by the pickup table on race day if you did not register in time.
Shirt and timing bib pickup will be in the 300 building cafeteria as follows:
Wednesday, October 15 - 10:00AM - 11:00AM
Thursday, October 16 - 10:00AM-11:00AM
Friday, October 17 - 10:00AM - 11:00AM
Pickup will also be on race day, October 18, between 8:00AM and 9:00AM
TROLLERS, AND WAGONS ARE PERMITTED ON-SITE AND IN THE RUN/WALK.
BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS, HOVERBOARDS, AND OTHER SIMILAR EQUIPMENT ARE NOT AUTHORIZED IN THE RUN/WALK OR THE EVENT AREA.
PETS ARE AUTHORIZED ON-SITE DURING THE EVENT AND ON THE RACE COURSE. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PETS. ENSURE YOUR PET IS COMFORTABLE AROUND OTHER DOGS AND HUMANS!!
CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED DURING THE EVENT AND MUST BE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.
THERE ARE NO DRUGS/ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT.
