We're heading to an annual favorite in September by visiting Orlando Brewing (owned and operated by Army veteran John Cheek). If you have been to past VBC Orlando meet ups, then please bring a newbie with you to your next one. This is the networking opportunity that they have been looking for.
If you haven't been to a VBC meet up before, then here are a few notes. First, this isn't about beer drinking. VBC is a regular networking event to bring transitioning military, veterans, military/veteran spouses, and patriots together to learn about opportunities and resources in Central Florida. New to the Orlando area? Looking for a new job opportunity? Interested in volunteer opportunities? Just want to connect with other veterans? All of those questions can be satisfied through the dozens of attendees who have been where you are and want to help you succeed.
This is an informal and low-stress event. There are no fees or dues for attending - just come as you are. Whether you've attended twenty VBC meet ups or this is your first, you'll be among friends. There is no requirement or expectation to drink at these events. The brewery settings simply provide a good atmosphere for the intended networking to take place. Cheers!
