The story of the Variart Trio began more than ten years ago when three young musicians, Gábor Németh, Eszter Kalocsai and Eszter Agárdi, first met at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest. Their love and dedication to chamber music was unquestionable from the very first moment, and they continued playing together at the Liszt Academy. As a trio and in other formations they have performed at numerous competitions and festivals with outstanding success. In their concerts, they aim to present the genre of string trio in as varied a programme as possible, from Viennese classical to contemporary music, including popular and lesser-known works by foreign and Hungarian composers.Programme:
