It’s time for Alaska to have its first Vanlife Gathering/ Traveler’s Festival. Never before has Alaska seen this type of event, centered around community, camping and education. This 4 day, 3 night event will be held in Palmer, Alaska. A private property will be the gathering place for hundreds of nomads from all across the nation. The mobile living movement has boomed in the past 10 years, with huge events like the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous and Descend on Bend, creating lasting friendship connections throughout the community. These events are life changing and give travelers a place to connect, as well as present an opportunity for people to meet and get inspired. Due to its isolation, Alaska has yet to develop a sustainable community of Alternative living and travelers.
