Vanja Sky ist Kroatiens Antwort auf Sheryl Crow und Norah Jones. Rasanter kann sich eine künstlerische Laufbahn kaum entwickeln. Fünf Jahre, nachdem sie das Gitarrenspiel erlernt hatte, nahm Vanja mit namhaften Künstlern der internationalen Bluesszene ihr Debütalbum auf. Mit „Woman Named Trouble“ erschien nun das Nachfolgewerk. Jetzt ist sie „Reborn“ und betourt ihr neues Album, welches Features von Künstlern wie Carl Sentance (Nazareth, Persian Risk, Krokus), Ric Lee (Ten Years After) und Gerry McAvoy (Band Of Friends) enthält.
„Reborn“ kennt die Stereotypen des rotzigen Blues-Rock ziemlich gut. Das Programm reicht von stimmungsvollen Stampfern, über gediegene Balladen und Schweine-Rock mit exponierter Gitarrenarbeit.
