About this Event
It's time to plant at Trout Lake! We will be planting native shrubs, herbs and small trees that will do well in this lake and withstand the seasonal flooding that comes each winter. These plants will also benefit the many birds that come to Trout Lake every season. This is a family-friendly event, children are welcomed to come!
We will be meeting at the southwest corner of Trout Lake by the swimming beach in Vancouver. Just look for the Wildcoast setup!
Please bring the following:
- A hat
- Water bottle
- Wear close-toed shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty
- A reusable mug
We will provide tools, gloves and light refreshments. Our events run rain or shine. If you cannot come please email us or cancel your ticket to allow others to attend as spots and supplies are limited. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all.
