Vanessa Vacanti has been named "2024 Rising Star Jazz Performer of the Year" by the JazzBuffalo Poll. After earning her degree at SUNY Fredonia, she has performed at jazz festivals and clubs throughout the state and is now proud to call Buffalo her home. She has studied under acclaimed jazz vocalists like Nancy Kelly and Kim Nazarian. Her background in musical theater and jazz has enabled her to develop a strong stage presence and a connection with her musicians and the audience. Vacanti's dedication to musical storytelling combined with her love of improvisation promises audiences a musical journey they won't want to miss.
