Vancouver Swedish Lucia 2025 Celebration 7 PM Evening Dinner

Join us for an evening of enjoyment, dinner, and Lucia celebration

Celebrate Santa Lucia in the afternoon with the Vancouver Swedish Cultural Society at 7 PM on December 13th for dinner! This is the 60th year of the Lucia event in Vancouver. Join us for coffee, baked goods, and a candlelit procession with traditional Lucia songs.

• Doors open at 6:30 PM
• Traditional Glögg and mingle with friends
• The program starts at 7:00 PM
• Music performance

• A Swedish Christmas sing-along
• The Lucia procession
• Dinner, a traditional Swedish Julbord
• Dancing around the Christmas tree (unless we're too full)

There will be a cash bar available. Enjoy the warmth of this cherished Swedish tradition and embrace the festive spirit.

Refunds are only issued before December 5th. As the event is expected to be another sellout, no refunds will be provided after this date.

Volunteers entirely put on the Lucia event. You can help by making a dish for the Julbord, setting up tables, or even performing. There are numerous volunteer roles. Many hands make light work. Email Magnus at [email protected] to see what we need for this year.
