Ten storytellers share original short stories and compete for cash prizes and a spot on our championship stage. Winners determined by audience vote.As this is the last chance to see storytellers compete before finals, the November show is often referred to as the Last Chance Story Slam.

If you have a 4- to 6-minute story you've written and would like to share, sign up in person at the October 10 show or
email VancouverStorySlam at yahoo dot com *BETWEEN 10pm THURS OCT 10 AND 10pm SAT OCT 12*.
All signups will be put into a draw. We'll draw ten names and announce the lineup the following week.

Admission: $6 CASH at the door
Venue opens 5pm - doors 7pm - show starts 8pm
Per the venue's license, minors are permitted only until 8pm if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Contact the venue for more information.
Venue is on the #3 Main bus route.
The venue sells pub food and beverages, and accepts cash, credit, and debit.
Early arrival is recommended to ensure admittance and to get the best seats. Due to fire safety regulations, if the venue reaches capacity no further audience members will be admitted for any reason. Ballots are only handed out prior to show start; no ballots will be handed out to folks who arrive after the competition begins.
Vancouver Story Slam takes place on the unceeded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, Sto:lo and Tseil Watooth Nations.
