Vancouver Clue Solving Adventure – Islands & Bridges

This experience combines the elements of scavenger hunt and clue-solving tasks that are suitable for the entire family and is a perfect date night idea for couples.

In an alarming news story, it appears Granville Island has been overrun with wild animals that have taken residence in all of its awesome shops, parks and eateries. The city’s Mayor is desperate for help and has offered a special award to the group that can round up the animals the fastest. You have been tasked with rounding them up.

Uncover a new side to the island as you work together to solve a series of clues & puzzles. It is your choice whether to race the leaderboard (and your friends) or to simply meander through the shops, parks and restaurants enjoying the experience to its fullest. But don’t forget to finish quickly if you want to win the honour!

WHAT'S NEEDED:

- One charged smartphone (iPhone 5s or newer; Android 4.4 or later)is required per group,

- Comfortable walking shoes,

- Dress for the weather,

- Water is suggested.

HOW IT WORKS:

Start your game at any time, just finish before dark.

1. You will receive an email with a booking confirmation that includes all the necessary details and next steps.

2. The Clue Solving Adventure is played using the Free App. You will need to download the App, go to the start location, enter the password and follow the clues. Data or Wi-Fi is only required to download the App and activate your game – it is not required while playing, the App has a REMOTE PLAY feature.

3. On the day you are planning to play, activate your game by entering your email address and booking code into the App

4. Go to the Start Location provided in booking confirmation, read your instructions and backstory, then enter READY to start the clock and begin playing.

5. If you are stuck on a clue ask for hints on reaching your destination or for solutions. These hints cost time penalties added to your final score but used strategically they may be well worth it!

6. Complete all the clues and solve the final mystery.

Duration: 90 minutes.

Season: available year-round.

Schedule: the game runs daily but we recommend playing during business hours.

Group size: 2-5 people per team is recommended.

Walking distance: 2.5 km.

Difficulty: 25 moderate clues, the game contains mostly simple clues, but with a few teasers.
