We are thrilled to announce a very special event at Van Eaton Galleries: a Disney panel discussion, artist showcase, and book and art signing—all in one!
Disney Legend Tony Baxter (Big Thunder Mountain, creator of Figment) and author/documentarian Leslie Iwerks ("The Imagineering Story") will be joining us for an exciting panel discussion moderated by Disney expert Tim O’Day (co-author of “Groundbreaking Magic: A Black Woman’s Journey Through The Happiest Place on Earth”). Our artist showcase will feature new works from Disney artists Bret Iwan (voice of Mickey Mouse) and Eric Tan (former Director of Design, Disney Creative Group), who will all be joining us in person! Copies of the books The Imagineering Story and Groundbreaking Magic will be available for purchase and signing, along with artwork by Tony Baxter, Bret Iwan, and Eric Tan.
THE ARTISTS AND AUTHORS WILL ONLY BE SIGNING BOOKS AND ARTWORK PURCHASED FROM VAN EATON GALLERIES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS EVENT.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING PERSONAL ITEMS, AS THEY WILL NOT BE SIGNED.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 14th. Space is limited, so keep an eye out for more information. The ticketed panel and art showcase and signing will be from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., while the book signing will be open to the public from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Bonus: Our 2nd annual YART sale will premiere that evening as well, featuring great gifts just in time for the holidays!
