We’re excited to announce the rebranding of CreekFest to Valley Fest—a vibrant month-long celebration of everything that makes our collective 'Valley' so special. Hands-on workshops, whānau fun days, community gatherings, and activities highlighting our Valley’s unique biodiversity—the Valley Fest will be bursting with creativity and spirit! The festival brings to life the Valley Project’s vision of a community that is inclusive, connected, and thriving, with a focus on resilience.

Valley Community Workshop, 11 Allen St.
In conjunction with Repair Festival Aotearoa 2025, the Valley Cycle Workshop team will provide minor bike repairs on punctures, gear tuning, broken cables and brakes. Koha Welcome.

Discover the world of textiles, design, craft, and contemporary art with local artist Christine Keller. Explore weaving and textile design at the Loom Room, and sustainable menstrual care with Sew On.

Have a go on the track, guided by the Dunedin BMX team. Bring your own gear or borrow theirs. Wear pants, long-sleeved tops, and closed-toe shoes. Free BBQ. Rainy day alt: 21 Sept.

Tour will take place during a working bee so guests can get a fantastic view of what it takes to be a part of this initiative. A showcase of crops, companion planting, and pest control. FREE!
