This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to slow down and gather around coffee, stories, and warmth. This is not just a celebration of romantic love, but of friendship, family, community, and the simple joy of being together.
Join us for a cozy Turkish and Shami coffee experience on hot sand, inspired by centuries-old traditions where coffee was a reason to pause, listen, and connect. Drop in anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM inside the Kids Market at Granville Island and enjoy a moment of presence in a lively, welcoming space.

• Traditional Turkish and Shami coffee prepared on hot sand, rich and aromatic
• Turkish tea, gently brewed and served with care
• A complimentary piece of Turkish delight with every drink
• Storytelling throughout the day, sharing stories of coffee, culture, love, memory, and belonging
This gathering is open to everyone. Come with a partner, a friend, family, or on your own. Sit, sip, listen, and enjoy the warmth of shared moments.

We are located inside the Kids Market, where children can play while you enjoy your coffee. The space may be lively and noisy, and that energy is part of its charm.

Eventbrite registration is free and simply lets us know you’re coming. Drinks are purchased on site, so you can choose what feels right in the moment.
