Get ready to craft your own romantic ambiance with personalized candles at our cozy workshop just in time for Valentine's Day.
About this Event

MakerSpace is located at 1003 Louise Ave, Suite A.
Your instructor will guide you step by step through the soy candle-making process while you enjoy a relaxing and creative experience with friends. You’ll create your very own candle to take home and enjoy. We’ll cover the basics of candle making while sharing helpful tips, tricks, and troubleshooting techniques along the way.

This workshop includes:

• An overview of the candle-making process with guided instruction

• One ceramic heart-shaped vessel

• Hand-poured soy wax and wicks

• Your choice of one pre-mixed fragrance: (Chocolate Covered Strawberries or Vanilla Orchid)

• Red wax heart embellishments

• One blank, customizable hang tag with string (Markers, stamps, and stickers will be provided to decorate your tag)

• Candles will take 60–90 minutes to set and can be taken home the same day

• While candles set, participants will sample and critique various scents for future project inspiration

Beginner-friendly — no experience necessary!

This class is open to ages 12 and up. Anyone under 18 must attend with an adult, and all participants are required to purchase a separate Eventbrite ticket.

Refund Policy:

Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.
14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.

Cancellation Policy:

MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled by MakerSpace, fees are 100% refundable.
