An evening of breathwork (pranayama), meditation, heart opening yin yoga practise and soundbath. An invitation to be guided in practises for quietening the thinking mind and connecting with our bodies. With a focus on self compassion and acceptance.In yin yoga we hold poses for 3-5 minutes, using props to support so that you can relax into the pose. The focus is more on the connective tissue, joints and fascia helping to promote circulation, sustainability and flexibility (although you absolutely do not have to be 'flexible'- there are variations of all poses to meet your bodies individual needs). Yin yoga also supports balancing of emotions, better sleep and mental focus.
The workshop will end with a sound bath combining gongs and crystal singing bowls. The frequencies of the instruments encourage the brain waves to slow down, allowing us to access a deeper state of relaxation,known as Theta, where our minds and bodies can truly rest and heal.
Herbal tea provided ☕
Mats and props provided, just bring a cushion and blanket. Wear comfy clothes and bring an extra layer to cosy up for the sound bath 😊
