Learn how to use the pottery wheel alongside your Valentine! Create, connect, and learn side by side for a memorable shared experience. Also includes sparkling cider and sweet treats! This is a two-hour beginners class where you will learn the basics of wheel throwing. Your instructor will guide you both through the process of creating on the wheel- centering your clay, opening the clay, and pulling up the walls of your piece. You’ll have time for a couple of tries to practice what you’re learning. If you and your partner are down for a little friendly competition, your instructor can guide you through a Throwdown challenge!
Our team will trim, glaze, and fire your pieces to pick up in a few weeks. If you make additional pieces that you would like fired, you can pay an extra $20 per piece after your class and we will finish them as well. Want to get hands on with glazing your piece? Ask your instructor about one of our upcoming glaze lessons.
