Enjoy a fun date night, or spend time with family or friends, learning the basics of chocolate and trying your hand at chocolate making in this fun chocolate workshop, hosted by the Mother and Daughter team, Cyndy and Leah, of Pure Lovin' Chocolate!In this class, we will:
- Learn about where chocolate comes from, how it's made, and different types of chocolate (including organic, Fair trade and vegan chocolate).
- Learn about and make dark chocolate ganache
- Handroll and dip chocolate truffles
- Temper chocolate by hand
- Make dark chocolate fruit & nut bark or clusters
Each participant will leave with 9 chocolate truffles in a gift box, 1 large piece of chocolate fruit & nut bark or a few clusters, and a handout with information on everything we covered as well as recipes.
We will be using 71% organic, Fair Trade dark chocolate and all ingredients are vegan, gluten free and soy free.
Tickets also include 2 glasses of red or white wine or a selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
Please make sure you are dressed appropriately for a kitchen environment (no open toed shoes or high heels, no sleeveless shirts, please tie hair back). Aprons will be provided.
Class has a maximum of 8 participants. Class may be cancelled if minimum participant amount is not met.
