About this Event
During this one hour Beach Clean we'll be conducting a clean up and litter survey to help the Marine Conservation Society gather vital data to keep pushing for the reduction of marine litter.
Meeting Location: Meet from 10.45 for an 11am start. North Bay Promenade, the concreted open area opposite The Sands complex
Toilets can be accessed at The Sands complex and nearby cafes.
Transport by train
The meeting spot is a 20minute walk from Scarborough Station
By car
Car parking bays can be found along Royal Albert Drive.

Also worth knowing…
What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks, and a drink. All litter picking equipment will be provided.
What to wear: Please dress for the weather with warm layers, waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes and gloves. Feel free to bring your own refreshments, such as water and /or a hot drink to keep you warm.
Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.
