Grab your Valentine and your Adventure Team and join us for our February Pet Social on Valentine’s Day.
This month’s Social is designed for more advanced Adventure Teams. We’ll be hanging out inside, practicing calm, neutral behavior while sitting still in a real-world environment. Think therapy-animal-level manners while you enjoy a drink and great company.
Spinal Taproom is a pet-friendly craft beer taproom with a relaxed vibe, making it a perfect place to work on:
• Settling near distractions
• Neutral behavior around people and movement
• Relaxing in close quarters
• Advocating for your pet in a public indoor space
This is a great opportunity for teams preparing for therapy work or polishing their adventure pet manners beyond patios and outdoor socials.

Pet Socials are open to King’s Creatures clients only, including those who have completed a consultation or are active members of the King’s Creatures Adventure Team Club.

• A 6-foot leash (no retractables)

• Water for your pet
• A calm, ready-to-train mindset
Important reminder:
There are no on-leash greetings with other pets or people during the Social. This keeps everyone relaxed and sets our Adventure Teams up for success. I’ll help you advocate if needed.
Suggested donation:
Pet Socials are free to attend, but we suggest a $5 donation per pet-and-handler team to support Living Creatures Ministry, a nonprofit that trains therapy animal teams for Lutheran congregations across the US.
