Class Description:
Join artist Svetlana Lechkina for a relaxing and creative quilling workshop focused on making a beautiful Valentine's card. This class is designed especially for beginners who have a desire to try something new and explore the traditional art of quilling.
During the workshop, participants will learn the basics of quilling, an artform that dates back centuries. The session will begin with practicing simple quilling shapes to build foundational skills. Once comfortable, students will apply what they have learned to create a unique and charming Valentine's card.
All the necessary materials and tools, including paper strips and quilling tools, will be provided, so you only need to bring your enthusiasm. The workshop will last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, allowing ample time for hands-on instruction and practice.
Step-by-step guidance will be provided throughout the class, both through live demonstrations led by Svetlana and printed instructions that participants can take home. By the end of the session, each participant will have completed a lovely card they can proudly share with loved ones or keep as a personalized keepsake.
