Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create you own Personal Chip’n’Dip Plate or appetizer plate with step by step instructions. Absolutely no experience needed in this beginner class. We have 3 basic styles for you to aim for. Example styles included at top of this event.
We’ll cover how to center clay and the basics of throwing pottery on the pottery wheel, and you’ll get to customize and shape the final form. Some clay hand building techniques will be utilized as well.
*Glaze & Firing package is included with this workshop. You’ll get to choose your colors and learn to glaze (paint).
We'll finish out the day with a complimentary Valentine's Day dessert.
Work will be left with instructor to be dry and fired in kiln to complete the process. Expect art to be done in about 6 weeks.
Workshop includes everything you need to complete project , so you can focus on the creative process to make it uniquely yours. We utilize only premium materials and glazes.
