Caribbean Partner Dance Experience

This Valentine’s weekend, step into a different kind of date night.

Lovers Night is a curated partner dance workshop designed for couples who want to slow down, tune in, and connect through movement. This experience is about presence, trust, and learning how to truly feel your partner — not just move next to them.

This is not about performance.

This is about connection.

💃🏽 THE DANCE

Konpa is a Caribbean partner dance originating from Haiti. It is traditionally danced in two, with an emphasis on closeness, subtle lead and follow, and smooth, grounded movement. Konpa is known for its softness, flow, and the way it allows partners to communicate without words.

You do not need prior dance experience to participate. This workshop is beginner-friendly, welcoming, and guided step by step.

🌹 WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the class, couples will be guided through intentional partner exercises designed to build trust, awareness, and connection, including:

• Blindfolded dancing

• Lead and surrender exercises

• Slow body communication

• Playful connection challenges

All activities are optional, respectful, and consent-based, with clear guidance provided at every step. You are always encouraged to move at your own comfort level.
