This workshop will include Valentines themed options.
You’ll choose the style of project that best fits how you like to create:
Want to make your piece completely from scratch and get your hands in the clay? Choose the Clay Slab Build.
Prefer to start with a finished form and spend more time customizing, carving, or painting details? Choose the Pre-Made Clay Form.
Both paths are fully guided, supported, and entirely yours to personalize.
✋ Choose Your Project Style
Option 1 — Clay Slab Build (Make it from scratch)
Start with a 12" x 12" slab of clay, then shape and build your piece from the ground up.
This option is perfect if you want to get your hands fully in the clay, learn forming techniques, and create the structure of your piece yourself.
Common slab-built pieces include:
Regular shape or Heart shape Mug(and Mug warmer)
-Plate/platter (heart shape options available)
-Baking dish
-Planter
-Coaster, wall decor
Or another simple, refined form of your choosing
Expect shaping, joining, smoothing, and forming — a bit more hands-on, a bit more tactile.
Option 2 — Pre-Made Clay Form (Customize & focus on details)
Choose from:
-Mug
-Heart shape Bowl (soup bowl option)
-Platter
-Planter
-Garlic scrapper/herb stripper
These forms are already shaped and slightly damp — ready for carving, adding texture, painting, and sculptural details.
This option is ideal if you love focusing on surface design, painting, refinement, and personalization rather than building structural form.
