The first half of the session, we will be exploring the world of Somatics guided by Emma - somatic practitioner, coach, yoga teacher & energy healer. Together, we create gentle exploration, inquiry and exercises specifically stimulating the vagus nerve through vagal toning - sensory input, sound, movement and breath. Doing so, we gently re-wire the body how to feel safe again. When we stimulate the vagus nerve, we’re speaking directly to the part of the nervous system that governs rest, digestion, connection, and repair. The body begins to shift out of survival and back into rhythm.
The second half will be a gentle transition to the sound bath where the sound and vibration from the instruments directly stimulate the vagus nerve slowing down the brain waves into a state of deep rest, meditation and healing.
Finish with a herbal tea and snack as we ground back.
