The Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards in Aberdeen City are established to support Aberdeen based visual artists and craft practitioners in their creative and professional development.
In a partnership with Creative Scotland, the Council has established two award schemes as a means of assisting individual artists and makers at all stages of their career. The award schemes are intended to support practitioners who can demonstrate significant progression and development of their practice and an ongoing commitment to their work through the creation of new work, new skills or new opportunities.
