VBS 2023: Stellar – Shine Jesus’ LightWhen: Monday, June 19th through Friday, June 23rd, 2023

Join us for 5 fun filled days of Vacation Bible School this June as we blast off into space to learn to Shine Jesus’ light. Over the 5 days we will learn that when life feels dark, when people don’t get along, when good things happen, when people are sad and when people need help, we can Shine Jesus’ light. Children aged 3 (potty trained) thru finishing eighth grade will have the opportunity to participate in Sing and Play Blast Off, Stellar Bible Stories, Imagination Station, All Star Games, Galactic Snacks and Cosmic Closing each night. During Sing and Play Blast Off, we will sing our theme song, be introduced to our character of the day, learn our bible point and be introduced to our Bible story and verse. Following Blast off, pre-school children will go to their classroom and complete their rotations, while the other children will follow their team leaders and groups to Stellar Bible Stories/Galactic Snacks where they will explore the Bible Story and enjoy a delicious snack. During Imagination Station, children will make crafts to reinforce the Bible story and Bible point. All Star Games will allow the groups to play fun games that reinforce the Bible point and story. We end each night with Cosmic Closing where we will have the opportunity to sing, review our evening as well as see ourselves in our Spotlight Presentation.
We will also be offering an adult class.
We also participate in a mission project. This year we will be collecting non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies for the Havre de Grace Middle/High School food pantry.
