CLASS DESCRIPTION:
• Knowledge: Increased general knowledge of VA home loan and renovation programs.
• Eligibility: Understand what it means to be eligible for the VA home loan program and who is eligible
• VA Process: Be able to explain the process to the veteran
• Terms: Basic terminology of the program
• Fees: Understand which fees are allowable and which ones are unallowable (capped at 1% of loan amount)
• Appraisals: Knowledge of VA appraisal process
• Referrals: Increased veteran referrals from veterans who are assisted by agents who are knowledgeable regarding VA home loan program.
