Everybody likes treats, right? Our sister club, the A-C Dixies, sure hope so, because they’ve got a NEW treat coming up for everyone in 2025! Please join us when the fabulous Vic Ceder and Mary & Bob Townsend-Manning team up to bring us a something-for-everyone weekend from February 20-22, 2025!That’s right. Something for everyone, from SSD through C-1, with rounds on top. That sounds like a pretty sweet treat to us and we hope it does to you, too.
Thursday starts the weekend with SSD, Plus, and Rounds. Mary & Bob will get the evening going at 6:30 p.m. with pre-rounds, followed by alternating SSD & Plus, with rounds between, from 7-9. AND, for those who like sprinkles on top, there will be a half-hour of Anything Goes Plus from 9-9:30. The Thursday dance is $15 per dancer and we encourage you to pre-register.
If you dance A2 or above, stick around because there’s even more on Friday & Saturday! C-1 dancers get the first scoop, starting Friday morning, with a C-1 day session from 9:30-11:30 and then continuing through the afternoon from 1:30-3:30. C-1, A-2, and round dancers blend in to keep dancing on into the evening! Pre-rounds open the evening at 6:30, followed by C-1 from 7-7:30, then A-2 & rounds from 7:30-9. Extra sprinkles again? Sure! Confident dancers get to strut their stuff with a half-hour of Anything Goes A-2!
Sleep well so you’ll be fresh for a full day on Saturday! Rise & shine for an A-2 workshop at 9:30 a.m. and a C-1 workshop at 11 a.m., then an A-2 DBD dance at 2 p.m. Take a little rest to recharge and eat dinner, then come back and cap this really delicious weekend with pre-rounds at 6:30, A-2 & rounds at 7, and C-1 at 8:30. Diehard C-1 dancers, show what you know: it’s Take No Prisoners C-1 dancing from 9:15-9:30!!
The price tag for Friday and Saturday depends on how much you want to dance. Please see the flyer for those details. You even get a price break if you pre-register before February 1. We do strongly encourage you to pre-register. Vic is a very talented and popular caller and we think this dance could easily sell out.
All dancing for the whole weekend will be at the beautiful Townsend-Manning home studio in Washington.
