UX+ Talks #2: Combining UX, AI and Psychology

This meetup is about the full spectrum of UX, product and the people behind it. We invite anyone who is as passionate as we are about making the world more human-centric (and who makes a living doing it).

Our second session features Marcia Arbenz, UX Specialist at Userlutions, talking about "Combining UX, AI and Psychology: What We Need to Consider as Humans When Using AI".

Join Marcia as she explores the intersection of human behavior, artificial intelligence, and user experience – both practically and scientifically. In her talk, she questions if we are relying too heavily on AI, explains why AI is both very smart and very studpid and gives an outlook on the evolution of AI through the lenses of UX and psychology.

After her talk, you can ask Marcia all your burning questions. It's perfectly fine if you don't feel like sharing in front of the whole group – you can always have a private chat with Marcia and the rest of us in the networking session afterwards.

Marcia is a dedicated UX Specialist at Userlutions, leveraging her experience in psychological research, marketing, and innovation consulting. With a Master's degree in Psychology, Marcia excels in both quantitative and qualitative UX research, workshop facilitation, UX testing, and AI prompting. She is passionate about improving the world through better UX for both people and the environment. She has been highly involved in developing an AI assistant for RapidUsertests (currently in closed beta) and creating chatbots to extract key insights from UX research data.

UX+ Talks is a brand new series of meetups designed to bring together Berlin's diverse community of UX & product professionals, fostering exchange and driving human-centred change.

Each event features one or more speakers renowned for their expertise. Together, we explore topics such as increasing the business impact of UX, developing human-centric products and services, and other strategic insights to help you move the needle.

UX+ Talks is hosted by Userlutions, a Berlin-based UX agency dedicated to research, testing and design.

This meetup is aimed at UX & Product professionals who are at least on mid-level (ideally senior or above). There are no strict requirements, but because the on-site spots are limited, we kindly ask you to leave them to the people who would get the most out of this event. But, there's another way to join...

You can watch the talk from the comfort of your own home (make sure to grab a snack & drink) and also submit your questions for the Q&A via chat.

We may take photos of this event for social media posts and promo. If you do not want to be photographed, please let us know when you arrive at the event. We will make sure that your privacy is respected. You won't be visible in the live stream, but audible if you choose to ask a question.

Given the limited availability of on-site spots, we want to make sure that everyone who wants to attend can do so.
