UWI DCFA Presents Rhythm of Culture – A Legacy Year Dance Celebration
As part of its Legacy Year celebrations, the University of the West Indies (UWI) Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) proudly presents Rhythm of Culture, an inspiring dance showcase on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 November at the Winnifred Atwell Auditorium, Queen’s Hall.
This special production highlights the creativity and artistry of the DCFA’s BA and Certificate students in Dance, performing alongside talented members of the wider dance community. Audiences will enjoy an evening of movement that spans traditional Caribbean folk, modern, Indian, hip hop, and contemporary dance forms.
All works are originally choreographed by DCFA lecturers, alumni, and students, reflecting the department’s rich history and its ongoing commitment to innovation in the performing arts.
